Super Talent shows USB 3.0 flash drives with hardware encryption


The product lines and SuperCrypt SuperCrypt Pro come with capacities of 16, 32, 64, 128 and 256 GByte. They offer a maximum transfer rate of 240 Mbytes / s. The global market will start this month.


Super Talent has unveiled at the CeBIT in Hanover (Hall 17, Stand E57), two flash drive series with AES hardware encryption. The models of the product lines and SuperCrypt SuperCrypt Pro support the beginning of 2009 featured a standard USB 3.0 Super Speed, and are backward compatible with USB 2.0, according to the manufacturer as well as USB 1.1.


USB 3.0 supports maximum transfer dell latitude d620 battery rates of up to 4.8 Gb / s, which is about ten times the speed of USB 2.0. Super Talent is the actual transfer of power with up to 240 MByte / s when connected to a USB 3.0 port. The flash drives come in capacities of 16, 32, 64, 128 and 256 GByte in the trade.


The product line offers SuperCrypt According to Super Talent 128-bit AES encryption in ECB mode. The models in the series SuperCrypt Pro use a 256 bit strong AES-XTS encryption. Passwords for the flash drives can be set using a supplied utility.


The USB flash drive measuring 9.5 times 3.4 times 1.5 cm. They are compatible with Windows 7, Vista and XP. The worldwide market launch will probably be later this month at the prices the company has not made any claims. Super Talent offers a warranty of two years.
